TBC Brass Band

Only few bands can embody and capture the soul of New Orleans streets as faithfully and accurately than the ToBeContinued Brass Band aka TBC. TBC was founded in 2002 by young high school students who grew up in the 7th and 9th Wards of New Orleans, Louisiana and sought to avoid the violence surrounding them by creating a band. Asking for permission to borrow some of their school instruments, they rapidly grew popularity with no manager or guaranteed gigs by establishing their presence on the corner of the legendary Bourbon and Canal Streets in the French Quarter. As if the band’s name had a prophetic dimension, TBC never stopped to play and perform, always putting music and New Orleans’ culture first by working relentlessly to be this bridge between yesterday, today and tomorrow. Gaining a strong crowd of followers through their weekly shows, the band’s reputation in the city never stopped growing and TBC soon started to be seen on big stages.
